Bikini Kill - RIP (1996) - - Bikini Kill had a message that was way bigger than me and I couldn’t really relate as a tennage boy, so I didn’t really get down with them too much but they had some good songs. I think I was just impressed with the way Kathleen Hannah cursed. I think she was the first woman I’ve heard curse like this. I think this song is about Kurt Cobain too. I saw a video of her recently where she did a tribute to Smells Like Teen Spirit. Apparently, Kurt stole that line from her or something along those lines. The video was really funny though. I’ll have to try and find it and post it.
